​1. Unstoppable Optimism in Unseasonable Weather
Though this fall wedding ended up feeling more like a summer scorcher thanks to St. Louis’s unpredictable weather, Gloria and John never let the heat dampen their spirits. Their positivity was infectious and set the tone for the entire celebration.


2. A Unique Handfasting Ceremony
Gloria and John incorporated a beautiful handfasting ceremony, symbolically “braiding their hands” to represent the strength and unity of their bond. This ancient tradition added a personal and meaningful touch to their vows.


3. A Bold Blue Color Palette
The bright blue hues of the wedding decor were nothing short of striking. From the florals to the table settings, the vibrant blue elements popped against the lush green grass at Brookdale Farms, creating a breathtaking aesthetic.

The farm’s resident cows decided to join in on the fun during the reception, bringing a playful and rustic charm to the festivities. It’s not every day you get bovine guests at a wedding!

​We met this sweet couple, who came all the way from Rolla, to spend to afternoon with us at Missouri Botanical Gardens. It was a warm but breezy summer day. The garden was nearly empty since it was the "end of the day" so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

We had a wonderful time getting to know this lovely couple and can't wait for the wedding day!

Rae and Chris are such a fun and laid back and carefree couple! We met Rae, Chris, their dogs, on a beautiful Saturday morning at The iconic St Louis Arch.


We discussed with Rae ahead of time that they were looking for a more "editorial/documentary style" for this session. Rae and Chris did a fantastic job with all my different directions to capture this candid style.


Chris proposed to Rae at the Arch grounds with a cute little picnic complete with all their favorite things, such as hockey jerseys, wine, koozies. Chris asked Rae "what did these three things have in common?" Rae answered our favorite show Letterkenny! Then Chris pulled out the ring!


For the second half of the engagement session, Rae and Chris opted for a brewery, Urban Chestnut, to represent their mutual love of "grabbing drinks anywhere"

If I had to use one word to describe this wedding it would be epic! That, however, would be an understatement!


Eddie and Amanda ended up with a beautifully perfect clear blue sky for their wedding day. The weather was predicted to be cloudy skies days before, so we were happy to see blue skies the day of the wedding.


When we talked to Eddie and Amanda on the phone couple weeks before the wedding, they mentioned to us they wanted their wedding to feel like a festival. Oh boy did their guests deliver! Everyone came in their best Celtic/Scottish attire, some were dressed as Vikings. I personally loved all the people dressed as fairies and other various characters from folklore as well.


The fiddle band led the foot procession for almost a mile. Everyone, all dressed to impress, danced, frolicked, and skipped as we made our way from the "villages" to the ceremony location across the vineyards.


Eddie and Amanda had the most unique ceremony entrance we’ve ever seen. They both came out singing Lucky by Jason Mraz, while still escorting their parents in. They are wonderful singers and very talented multitasking people.
It was a beautiful ceremony that took place during the solar eclipse. They took time to pause and enjoy the eclipse, and even provided everybody with their own stylized (DIY) eclipse glasses.


As totality happened, everybody cheered, and it was a perfect moment. Then, they continued on with the ceremony after the eclipse was over.


The reception was also very unique and had interesting events that happened. Instead of having a bunch of hours in between the ceremony and reception they decide to go for a more “lupper" theme for the reception. The band, Pappy with a Hatched, were already playing we we finally walking into the "reception" dance floor area playing fun Scottish songs. They even had a dance instructor or caller (as they call it) to teaching various Irish dances. There was even a costume contest!


It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to capture such a unique event. We had an amazing time filming, photographing and getting to know this amazing group of people! ​

A small and intimate wedding with an evening ceremony overlooking the lake. ​

We met Benetta and Jason right under the iconic St. Louis Arch last weekend on an early spring morning. It was quite breezy and chilly when we started out the day on the arch riverfront steps leading towards the Old Courthouse.

Jason proposed to Benetta in Hawaii atop one of the most famous volcanos! They hiked up to the top overlook and Jason got down on one knee and popped the question.

During our session, we definitely got our steps in! Since we did our own “mini walking tour” visiting all the different famous downtown St. Louis landmarks.

​Next up, an outfit change and Ballpark Village/Bush Stadium.
Jason is a Cubs fan and Benetta is a Cardinals fan. They dressed in their teams gear and it was so fun doing so rival pictures. Jason and Benetta love to go to all kinds of sports games together so this was the perfect way to end the session!
