​A sneak peek of Sure Shot’s favorite photos from an engagement + family session at Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, MO. We had a great time getting to Meredith, Matt and their little girl Hadley during this session. Meredith made matching pink tutus for her and Hadley and everyone looks sharp with their matching denim shirts.  We are so excited to be photographing and filming their wedding in February of 2020 at the beautiful Larimore House.  

​A sneak peek of Sure Shot’s favorite photos from an engagement shot at Lafayette Park, St. Louis, MO. Nick proposed to Jenn on thier 8th anniversary, at the bar where they had their first date. Had a card with the top 8 reasons he loved her, so sweet. We had a great time getting to know Jenn and Nick during the session. These high-school sweethearts are an easy-going, laid-back couple who are such fun to be around. As well as having full time jobs, planning a wedding, Jenn and Nick have 2 little boys and 3 cats and that keep them busy as well. We are so excited to be photographing their wedding in September and look forward to seeing Jenn, Nick and their families soon!  

​Above and below are a few of our favorite photos from a newborn session with little Barry Giesler. We photographed his parent's maternity session and now we are lucky enough to photograph Barry’s newborn session. Barry was a little fussy at the beginning of the session. So, Amanda’s Mom (a nurse for many years) swaddle him tight and soothe to sleep. She was such a big help throughout the session. Little Barry is already in love with his Gigi who can put him to sleep in no time. Panda bears (Amanda’s favorite) and “The Flash” (Chris’s favorite) were the themes for both the maternity session and newborn session. Little Barry is even named after the famed Barry Allen “The Flash”.  He is such a sweet boy and is already so loved by his family. We are so happy that we were able to capture this little cutie and to watch this family continue to grow. Congratulations guys and Best Wishes! 

​Above and below are a few of our favorite photos from a newborn session with little Stevie Erickson. We photographed his parent's maternity session and now we are lucky enough to photograph Stevie’s newborn session. He was such a good baby and once fussed a little during the session and kept his eyes open the whole time. The world is just too exciting to sleep and we cannot argue with that. We are so happy that we were able to capture this little cutie and to watch this family continue to grow. Congratulations guys and Best Wishes! 

​Above and below are a couple of our favorite photos from a mini family session we had at City Center park or Rec-Plex park in St. Peters, MO. It was a beautiful Sunday morning when we meet Michelle, Dalton, little Cannon and Michelle’s parents; Bobby and Roberta. We’ve known Michelle and Dalton for years and we were so excited when we finally got together for a photo session. Little Cannon smiles with his whole face and body, super well-behaved throughout the session and is just the sweetest little man. One of his favorite people is his Grandpa which made it easy to capture lots of photos with the two of them. We had so much fun spending time with this cute little family and photographing them. I’ve known Katie and Kaden for years and am so happy to see this cute little family add another one to the tribe. Thomas, their little boy, 2 years old, is full of energy and will be so excited to have a brother to play with. We had so much fun during this mini session as look forward to seeing this family continue to grow.

​A few of our favorite photos from a maternity session we shot at Sandy Creek Covered Bridge in Hillboro, Missouri. We photographed Jenny and Ray wedding in 2015 and now we were lucky enough to capture their maternity session. These two are such a sweet and loving couple and simply perfect for each other. They are going to be amazing parents and a great team. We had a great time during the session catching up and are looking forward to photographing their newborn session as well. We are so excited for them and cannot wait for their baby girl to arrive to help this family continue to grow! 

​A sneak peek of Sure Shot’s favorite photos from an engagement +family session we shot at Forest Park, St. Louis, MO. We met Valerie, Rick and Aiden at the waterfall in Forest Park. Valerie and Rick are a laid back and easy-going couple and Aiden was styling throughout the session. We had a great time getting to know these cute little family and taking their photos and are looking forward to their wedding in September. 

​Above are a few of our favorite photos from a very fun and unique session. A group of longtime friends wanted to get together for a photo session. We had a group of 12 very funny, goofy and creative people. The theme was bohemian complete with a table and chairs they brought along. The girls we decked out in beautiful bohemian style dresses and the guys in bohemian style as well, and they even brought a changing pop-up tent for their outfit change. The second half of the session was dedicated to the women of the group who love “American Horror Story”, “Scream Queens”, etc. We were able to create some dark and “witch-like” photos for them as well as a levitation/”light as a feather” photo for them. It was so fun to do something different and creatively alternative to what we normally do.  We had such a great time during their session and can not wait until next time. 

​A few of our favorite photos from a maternity session we shot at St. Peters Rec-Plex park. Amanda and Chris are such a fun and laid-back couple. They are going with a “panda bear theme” (Amanda’s favorite) and “The Flash theme” (Chris’s favorite) for the nursery. We loved the panda bear umbrella and “The Flash” onesie they brought to use in the shoot. Chris even had shoes to match “The Flash” onesie.  We had a great time getting to know them both during the session and are looking forward to photographing their newborn session as well. We are so excited for them and cannot wait for their baby boy to arrive to help this family continue to grow!

A sneak peek of the Angeles wedding on April 13th, 2019. ​Jessica is from St. Louis, Mo and Carlo is from Knob Noster, MO. This sweet couple met back in their college days at MIZZOU where they lived in the same dorm building. They also both majored in engineering so they saw each other at lot😊

Before the ceremony Jess and Carlo did a first look. We picked a spot inside with an industrial looking staircase where the lighting was simply beautiful so we had to capture some posed photos as well. The ceremony was at The Provincial House Chapel at UMSL campus in St. Louis, MO. We loved the brick building inside the UMSL campus with its huge grand doors, hardwood floors and pews and a neat looking balcony. During the ceremony Jess and Carlo had some unique events such as a “cord and veil ceremony” and “unity glass ceremony”.  After a really fun bubble exit from the ceremony and family formals outside on the front steps on the church and the gazebo in the courtyard it was time for “half-time” photos and video. After a little bus ride, we arrived at the Forest Park where they were also having the reception. The lighting was defiantly in our favor and we captured some amazing photos and video. The reception was at the Forest Park Golf Course Clubhouse. During the reception we headed outside for a couple more night shots. Then to finish off the evening, we met Jess and Carlo at the Chase Park Plaza, for a few more night photography shots. We had a great time filming and photographing Jess and Carlo’s wedding and wish them all the best. Congratulations and best wishes.

Check out a few of our favorite photos from a wedding we photographed and filmed. This lovely couple were wed on on a very special date, March 30th 2019, on their 10 year anniversary. In rained and poured throughout most of the day so we filmed and photographed most everything inside. The McPherson wedding venue is a beautiful venue with its unique chapel area inside and another space for a ceremony outside. They also have an awesome hair and makeup area, with a huge wall mirror, complete with a TV hooked to a camera that shows whats going on in the chapel so you can watch everything going down while you are hiding downstairs. Before the ceremony, Mallory and Jesse did a super sweet first look. Despite the rain we were able to step outside for a bit a grab a few photos. We love overcast days, it may not be everyone's favorite type of day but makes for beautiful pictures. Mallory and Jesse had a short and sweet ceremony where they recited their own vows and after they flipped the room, it was party time. We had a great time filming and photographing Mallory and Jesse's wedding and wish them all the best. Stay tuned for their wedding trailer coming out soon!

A sneak peek of Sure Shot’s favorite photos from an engagement session we had with Ronetta and Cavell. We met at the Jewel Box in Forest Park, St. Louis, Mo, since it was a cold and windy day. We had a great time getting to know these two and taking their photos. These guys are such a laid back and easy-going couple which made our job easy and fun. We cannot wait for their wedding day in August!

Above and below are our favorite photos from a Wintry Wonderland engagement session we had at The Gardens at SiUE. We were so excited when Stephanie mentioned she wanted a wintry engagement session. We met Stephanie and Daniel at The Lantern at the Gardens at SIUE in Edwardsville, Illinois. Stephanie wore a bright red dress with heels that totally popped on the wintry white backdrop and Daniel had jeans and a blue sweater they went perfectly with her outfit. “The Lantern" is Japanese gazebo that has a long walkway, which made for a really cool visual picture. Stephanie and Daniel were awesome sports throughout the whole session and powered though the cold with us. We had a great time on their engagement session and can’t wait for their wedding in October.

Andrea and Travis were wed in 2017 in Las Vegas and are now expecting their first child. We couldn’t be more excited for them. Their little girl is almost due (Andrea is at 30 weeks during our session) so we had to schedule a maternity session despite the wintry conditions. We decided that the Jewel box in Forest Park was our best bet. Wow, what a beautiful space. We’ve been here several times but every time it seems different. They’re always rotating new plants/flowers per season so there’s always something new to see. We had a great time photographing Andrea and Travis’s maternity session and look forward to seeing this family continue to grow.

Above and below are a couple of photos we think truly show off the amazing family we had the pleasure of photographing on December 30th. Katie contacted us and informed me this was the only time they had to have the whole family together and we were excited that we had her date available. They were all troopers and we all stuck it out on this "wintry" day to get some amazing photos. We had great time photographing this family and look forward to seeing them all again in the future.

We love getting to photograph this cute family. We have had the pleasure of photographing this guys for their engagement session and then thier wedding. Then when did Alli's maternity session and finally when Spencer arrived, we did his newborn session. Now we finally get to photograph the whole family. We can't wait to watch this family continue to grow and wish them a lifetime of happiness.

We were able to capture a little bit of the very short fall season we had this year. We met up with the Blutas family in Frontier Park in St. Charles, MO for a short and sweet family session. Hailey and Jesse's baby has the biggest, bluest eyes we've ever seen. She was such a good baby though our whole session and her parent did great as well:) We had a great time photographing this sweet little family. 

We had the pleasure of photographing and filming a unique and joyful Arabic engagement party. This celebration was held at the ornate and delicious Grbic Restaurant and Private Events. We wish them all the best with their wedding in New Jersey and a lifetime of happiness.
